Manufacturing
MGF19 Our state-of-the-art biologics manufacturing suites are the heart of our facility in Wuppertal. The Manufacturing Department works as one integrated team across all site functions and we routinely partner with our Manufacturing network across China, Ireland and the U.S. The site offers extended working day manufacturing in Inoculation Labs, Upstream, Downstream and Media Buffer preparation, but can also cover 24/7 operations for specific process steps. Our Manufacturing Excellence group supports all technical and compliance aspects of manufacturing including customer support, new product and new equipment introduction, investigation and audit SME input. We’re always looking for the following profiles, among others, for one of our Manufacturing teams: • Production Associate • Senior Production Associate • Production Shift-Lead • Production Graduate • Process Specialist • GMP Documentation Specialist DP7 Our state-of-the-art drug product manufacturing suites are the heart of our facility in Leverkusen. The Manufacturing Department works as one integrated team across all site functions and we routinely partner with our Manufacturing network across China, Ireland and the U.S. The site offers extended working day manufacturing in formulation, aseptic filling , manual and automatic visual inspection, and bulk packaging, but can also cover 24/7 operations for specific process steps. Our Manufacturing Excellence group supports all technical and compliance aspects of manufacturing including customer support, new product and new equipment introduction, investigation and audit SME input. We’re always looking for the following profiles, among others, for one of our Manufacturing teams: • Production Associate • Senior Production Associate • Production supervisor • Production functional lead • Process Specialists (subject matter experts) • GMP Documentation Specialist
MSAT
The Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) department comprises of three main functions, Tech Transfer & PPQ (Process Performance Qualification), Technical Services and Analytical Services. The Technology Transfer team is responsible for leading the technology transfer of new products into the facility and also responsible for the PPQ and validated state of the processes in manufacturing. The Technical Services team is responsible for maintaining the MSAT laboratory and transferring in small scale models to the laboratory to support the technology transfer and to troubleshoot and investigate process related deviations. The Analytical Services team performs analytical testing to support the MSAT laboratory and also support non routine testing requirements for PPQ campaigns and investigations. Engineering
The engineering area is made up of teams of engineers, technicians, and specialists across several functions. The teams directly support the operation of the manufacturing facility through the designing, building, and improving of the overall processes, to meet the needs of the site. Among them we have, the automation (AIS) team manages the automation systems to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. The facilities services team manages a wide scope of work throughout the site which touches all employees in their day-to-day activities. The plant engineering team is responsible for calibrations, maintenance and reliability operations across the site. The Process Engineering Validation (PEV) team is responsible for the qualification of clean utilities and cleanrooms, process and analytical equipment, cleaning validation, thermal mapping and computerized system validation. The capital projects team is responsible for Capex planning and execution of projects on site from strategy, design and planning through to execution and handover. The utilities team ensure availability of the all the site’s core and critical Utilities to users on site – GMP and non GMP, Electrical, Black, Gray and Clean systems. Quality
The Quality Department comprises of two main functions Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC). The QA function oversees the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) adherence to Regulated standards to site practice – Unit disciplines include Quality Management Systems – Supplier Oversight, Qualified Persons, Quality oversight of site operational activities, Quality Management of site process and cleaning Validation activities and Client engagement. The QC Control function is responsible for analytical testing and safeguarding of product prior to release – Unit functions include: In-process testing to support Manufacturing Production, Analytical Method Qualification, Validation and Transfer (as required), DS & DP Release Testing, Analytical Support for Process and Cleaning Validation, Environmental Monitoring and WFI, Clean Steam, Process Gas, Raw Material Specification, Sampling and Testing using compendial and/or client specific methods and Stability Studies. Supply Chain Management
Our Supply Chain Management team - with a wide and varied scope of activities spanning an international supply chain - manages the efficient flow of materials in support of manufacturing, to ensure the site meets its commitments on-time and in full to our clients. Critical to our success is the establishment and development of relationships across a global network of suppliers, clients and WuXi Biologics contacts. Our SCM team is engaged in the following areas: Customer Demand Management & Site Master Scheduling, S&OP Leadership, Material Planning & Purchase to Pay (P2P), Item Master Data Management, Temperature Controlled GMP Warehousing & Dispensing, Freight & Logistics Management, Inventory Management and Continuous Improvement – Lean activities and Supply Chain digitalisation. We're always looking for the following profiles, among others, for one of our SCM teams:

Project Management
Project Management at WuXi Biologics is a key component in the wheel to the success of the site and client satisfaction. PM works directly with clients on their products, interfacing with Manufacturing and Technical Functions to ensure Projects are executed as per the plan, leveraging on alignment with Project Management Institute Gold Standards and a wide network Globally of Project Management Colleagues across the Global Sites. As part of the Project Management Group, you will get a front row seat, working right across the business, from client business engagement to batch manufacture and release and everything in between.
Operations
The Operations department offers a unique opportunity to support the site’s Mission to accelerate and transform the discovery and manufacture of biologics. It comprises of the following functions: Procurement, Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), Training and Operational Excellence (OpEx). These functions provide critical support to all Departments across the site and collaborate with their global peers to ensure alignment and sharing of best practices.
Finance
The Finance department consists of Financial Controlling and Operation, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Finance Business Partnering (Finance BP). Financial Controlling and Operation focuses on entity accounting, tax, financial operation and controlling, group reporting, cash and financing management. FP&A is responsible for Group and business unit measurement and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, costing and finance digitalisation. Finance BP provides the business with insights and analysis, links financial to business strategies to drive decision making and ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered.
IT Department
The IT department is responsible for the site´s technological systems, maintenance of its digital and technological infrastructure. It includes but not limited to Server, end user devices, data voice networking, security, GMP applications, and SOP execution following enterprise IT operation SOP and policy in a GxP environment. It also ensures that all systems function together effectively.
